Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Operators must be aware of all quality requirements with product being manufactured and make their Supervisor’s aware of any questionable areas to insure customer satisfaction.
  • Operators must alert Supervisors, Set-Up, or Quality for any reject problems.
  • Operators will pack good production in box counts according the shop order instructions and follow the instructions in the Production Quality Work Instruction (PQWI).
  • Operators are responsible to record their good production, scrap/rejects, reject codes, and hours worked on their Molding Labor Forms.
  • Operators must report to their work stations in time to be “ready to work”, and to relieve the prior shift operator promptly at shift change.
  • Operators are responsible to leave their press/work area in a neat and organized fashion at the end of their shift.
  • Operators must be aware of the standard cycle for each job they are running and run that job on cycle.
  • Operators must properly fill out the box labels and be able to make cartons.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • Must have graduated from high school or G.E.D.
  • Basic math skills required
  • Must be motivated and be a self-starter
  • Good organization skills
  • Detail-oriented

Physical Abilities:
  • Able to be on your feet for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs
