Location: US:WI:MILWAUKEE at our FROEDTERT HOSPITAL facility.

This job is ON - SITE.

FTE: 1.00
Shift: Shift 1

Monday - Friday 8-hour days or possibly 4-10-hour days, 40 hours per week.
Shift has rotating start times (7,8, or 9am depending on staffing needs and call requirements).
Weekly call is required along with rotating weekend call and rotating holiday call is required (you need to be within 30min of Froedtert when on call).
Position is procedural so shifts may vary depending on the scheduled case load.
Some overtime is required.

Job Summary:
Prepares for and assists physician in all procedures done in the Cardiovascular Lab. Other duties as assigned.

Full time position in the Cardiac Cath Lab. Working with the providers for all Cardiac cases involving the heart. Including, but not limited to: LHC, RHC, STEMI's, CTO / CHIP procedures, Structural heart procedures (TAVR's, Mitral clips, ASD / PFO's). Must be able to wear lead, work as a team, and display professional behavior in a sometimes-stressful environment. Must be flexible in a patient centric environment. Patient care is always our priority. Must be able to be on location within 30 minutes upon STEMI activation.
Will rotate over to EP once fully trained.

EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:

Completion of an accredited Cardiovascular Technologist program or two years of field experience as an allied Health professional such as CVT, Radiology Tech, Anesthesia Tech or Paramedic is required.

EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:

High School diploma or equivalent is required.
Completion of an accredited Cardiovascular Technologist program is preferred.

LICENSURE DESCRIPTION:

American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within three months of hire.
American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required within nine months of hire.
