Shift: Shift 2

(Looking for someone who can crossover hours between 2nd and 3rd shift - Flexible)


Job Summary:

Works in collaboration with the Imaging Services Director to provide direct oversight and management, 24/7 day to day operations and control of 2nd/3rd Shift imaging services and control of assigned site and/or Modality Section. Directs assigned staff in quality patient care. Works with Director in development and modifications to procedures for Imaging Services department and staff. Other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:

Demonstrated competency and knowledge in the area of operations and/or a minimum of 3 years of experience in a Radiology environment is required.

EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:

Bachelor's Degree in Health Science, Health Administration, or related field is required. Two years experience in healthcare management/supervisory experience may be considered in lieu of degree or current enrollment in Bachelor degree program with a completion date with 2 years.

SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION:

Ability to use standard office equipment including calculator, copy machine, computer terminal, printer, and facsimile machine. Ability to communicate well with all levels of organization and effectively resolve problem situations. Ability to use general medical equipment including first aid equipment. Ability to use patient mobility devices including patient carts, wheelchairs, and patient lifting devices. Ability to use and understand assigned Modality Imaging equipment. Highly effective written and oral communication skills. Read, write, high degree of aptitude and precision in mathematics including metric knowledge. Highly effective interpersonal skills. Demonstrated effective leadership, supervisory and management skills.
