Almo's summer intern program includes a meaningful summer project, a series of career training workshops, and contact with senior leaders.

This is a full-time, paid internship in our Northeast Philadelphia headquarters office that will run from roughly May/June through July/August, depending on student availability. The core learning program will run for 8 weeks.

What you will do in this role:

Job functions include entry-level responsibilities within the designated department. Interns will have exposure to all facets of the department.

The ECommerce Marketing Intern will be responsible for:
  • Learn merchandizing and digital marketing strategies and tactics on top eCommerce retailers such as Amazon, Walmart, and Home Depot
  • Apply knowledge on marketing and buyer behavior to real world applications
  • Work closely with a team consisting of a growth manager, a sales operations specialist, and a sales & marketing specialist
    • help drive growth in traffic and sales conversion at a leading eCommerce retailer
  • Support various tasks including but not limited to product availability analysis, pricing accuracy reporting, competitive pricing research, preparing performance reports, supporting promotion and ad performance analysis, and reviewing product listings for retail readiness improvement opportunity
  • Conduct a pre-season catalog review on one or more top accounts of a key product category
    • Analysis of variation optimization, review generation needs, market price competitiveness, organic rank positioning
  • Share opportunities for content improvement, and direct shopper feedback through review analysis

What we look for in a candidate:

Education:
  • Currently enrolled in undergraduate program at an accredited college (preference for rising juniors and seniors)
  • Preferred Majors: Digital Marketing

Qualifications:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Productive time management skills
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
