Work Schedule:

Part-time per diem position. Operational hours are Monday - Friday 6:30AM - 7:00PM with late shift and on call responsibilities. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking a Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) / Cath Lab Tech to:

  • Practice in a growing technologically advanced and dynamic interventional procedural area.
  • Be an integral member of our highly collaborative multidisciplinary team.
  • Assist with scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring invasive cardiovascular procedures.
  • Receive opportunities to cross-train to our growing Pediatric and Adult Congenital Invasive Cardiology Program.

Education:

Minimum - Graduate of a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Technologist (CVIS) training program. One year of Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) or Interventional Radiology experience may be considered in lieu of education requirement.

Preferred - Graduate of a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (CVIS) Technologist training program.

Work Experience:

Preferred - Two years of Cardiovascular Technologist work experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory

Licenses and Certifications:

Minimum -

* If an Imaging Technician, then registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technicians (ARRT).

* Basic Life Support/CPR Certification

* ACLS certification within 6 months of hire date.

Preferred - RCIS. If a graduate meeting minimum education requirement, then licensed, certified or registered by appropriate credentialing program.
