Job Summary:

Responsible for Data aspects of dealer conversions and acquisitions.

Job Description:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Analyze existing data structures and formats from diverse sources.
  • Develop and implement strategies for data transformation and migration.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and ensure compatibility during conversions.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to report progress, challenges, and outcomes of data conversion activities.
  • Collaborate with the Data Engineers to collect, clean, and validate data from diverse sources, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with various departments, including marketing, finance, operations, and product development, to understand their data requirements and support their analytical needs.
  • Utilize scripting languages (e.g., Python, SQL, Jave, JavaScript ) and data manipulation tools (e.g., ETL tools) to manipulate, clean, and validate data for conversion.
  • Continuously monitor data quality and implement measures to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
  • Create and maintain documentation detailing conversion processes, transformations, and mappings.
  • Troubleshoot data conversion issues and provide timely resolutions.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation to enhance data collection, analysis, and conversion efficiency.
  • Identify areas of improvement and recommend strategies based on data-driven insights.
  • Create interactive visualizations, reports, and dashboards to effectively communicate complex data findings to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and develop tailored reports and visualizations to support their requirements.
  • Conduct post-conversion validation to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of structured and unstructured data sets using statistical techniques and data visualization tools.
  • Identify patterns, trends, and correlations in the data to derive meaningful insights.

SCOPE & IMPACT:

Serve as an IT representative in strategic teams executing company initiatives. Act as a liaison between business and IT, supporting initiatives impacting business effectiveness and productivity across the organization, including support functions, retail stores, distribution centers, and other business entities.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related discipline with 6-8 years' experience in a related field, or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Postgres SQL, Java, JavaScript, Python, R, or similar programming languages.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with large and complex data sets.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Domo, Power BI, or Tableau.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and familiarity with machine learning concepts.
  • Solid understanding of database management principles and data manipulation techniques.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Familiarity with data governance, data privacy, and relevant regulations is desirable.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
  • Masters Degree
  • Data related certification in the modern data stack tools including Snowflake, Power BI and Domo is a plus.

Office environment / no specific or unusual physical or environmental demands. Often required to sit, repetitive hand motion) hear, listen, and talk. Nearly continuously required to visually see information. Not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
