Come join HARIBO of America's first ever North American factory! Located on-site in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, the Technical Storeroom Clerkcoordinates the activities in the Technical Storeroom, utilizing SAP and the CMMS system.

Reporting to the Maintenance Planner, the Technical Storeroom Clerk will develop and maintain a supplier base that supports company objectives regarding quality, cost, and production requirements, in accordance with company policies and procedures to support the Plants buying needs. This role is responsible for ensuring that inventory is maintained and well-managed in support of the manufacturing facility as well office procurement needs. The Technical Storeroom Clerkwill partner with support functions to identify and resolve unplanned inefficiencies, events, quality, safety, cost and other losses attributed to the area, using problem solving techniques and a continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the activities in the Technical Storeroom to ensure the needed parts and supplies needed for efficient operations are maintained.
  • Responsible for creating, processing, and maintaining purchase orders, entering data into computerized systems, tracking delivery information, and processing monthly quality reports, via the SAP and CMMS systems.
  • Address and resolve the issues related to the management of the storeroom, including invoice discrepancies, disposition of rejected parts, and non-conforming parts.
  • Collaborate across departmental lines to promote design standardization to ensure cost containment and functions including: finance to insure document accuracy improvements; manufacturing support to outsource when capacity dictates.
  • Maintain records associated with the purchasing function, supplying relevant information to the accounting, sales and production functions as required.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of education generally equivalent to a high school diploma, Technical Degree preferred.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of relevant manufacturing, maintenance, or electrician experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of SAP, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and MRP Planning strongly preferred.
  • Experience with and knowledge of procuring machined to print components and commercial electrical and/or pneumatic commodities.
  • Requires basic mathematical skills to be able to add, subtract, multiply, divide, work with percentages, and have basic knowledge of algebra as well as make fine adjustments in equipment settings.

  • Excellent organizational skills and multitasking ability and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
