Location: US:WI:MILWAUKEE at our FROEDTERT HOSPITAL facility.

This job is ON - SITE.

FTE: 0.20

Shift: Shift 1

Wednesday 1000 to 1830

Job Summary:

Handles instruments, supplies and equipment necessary during the interventional radiology procedure. Has an understanding of the procedure being performed. Has the necessary knowledge and ability to ensure quality patient care during the procedure and is constantly on vigil for maintenance of the sterile field. Performs other related duties as needed to maintain department cost containment, efficiency, as well as quality performance.

EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:

A minimum of one-year direct patient care experience is required.

In lieu of one year experience, see education requirement.

A minimum of two years of direct patient care experience is preferred.

EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:

Completion of a certificate, diploma or degree program in healthcare or science related field is required within 6 months of hire. In lieu of a certificate, diploma or degree, a current post-secondary pertinent health care certification may be accepted (ex: EMT, Paramedic, Surgical technician, Anesthesia technician) or 3 years of health care experience. Associate degree from an accredited Surgical or Anesthesia Tech program or Paramedic is preferred.

LICENSURE DESCRIPTION:

American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within three months of hire.
