Job Description

What You Will Do:


Coordinates and expedites materials, parts, and assemblies flow between departments by performing the essential duties and responsibilities. Provides data analysis and reasoning skills to management as required while understanding material requirements for complex electronic products.

How You Will Do It:

  • Coordinate and monitor production planning and scheduling, including tracking and expediting work in process.
  • Analysis of proposed changes to the product and the effect on inventory and schedule.
  • Analysis of proposed schedule and quantity changes against production capacity and inventory.
  • Coordinate planning and scheduling of shop order releases.
  • Work with receiving inspection on priority of inspection per the schedule.
  • Update and provide analysis of production and operations plans and metrics.

What We Look For:

Required

  • Associate's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or operations environment.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in production planning and scheduling.
  • Comprehensive understanding of materials and production control principles.
  • Proficient in an ERP system (e.g. IFS, SAP, Oracle).
  • Expertise in using MS Office (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

Desired

  • Bachelor's degree in Production Planning from an accredited institution.
  • Understanding and experience with circuit card assembly processes and box build processes.
  • APICS certification
