Key Responsibilities: Shaping the Future of Engineering

As a Project Engineer I, your role will be crucial in contributing to the success of our projects. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Design Expertise: Utilizing office software, modeling tools, and Civil 3D technology to develop project segments with precision.
  • Analytical Excellence: Applying engineering formulas, skills, and computational tools to solve complex problems and ensure accurate project outcomes.
  • Technical Specification: Crafting specifications using thorough research and referencing manufacturing catalogs to define materials, installation processes, inspections, and payment guidelines.
  • Detail-Oriented: Collaborating to complete design details and plan sets, translating concepts into comprehensive blueprints.
  • Research and Reporting: Conducting research and generating objective summary reports, which serve as valuable resources for project completion and inspections.
  • Cost Estimation: Assisting in the preparation of engineering and construction cost estimates to support informed decision-making.
  • Field Engagement: Performing field observations, inspections, and data collection as directed by senior engineering staff.
  • Effective Communication: Engaging with client staff and internal design teams, following the guidance of senior engineering professionals.

Qualifications and Requirements: Pioneering Excellence

To thrive in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering or a closely related field.
  • Preferred coursework in land development, transportation, structures, water resources showcasing your understanding of critical concepts.
  • Preferred possession of the Engineer-in-Training (EIT) designation.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D or MicroStation strongly preferred.
