Position Summary:

Provides direct day-to-day care of patients and families. Practices to the fullest extent of his/her license in accordance with organizational policies. Under the direction of the Nurse Manager, functions as a member of the Patient Care Team to implement the patients plan of care. Provides population specific care to meet the developmental needs of those patients we serve.

The nurse, in conjunction with the Nurse Manager, participates in performance excellence initiatives that are focused on improving patient care and outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications:

* Graduate of a School of Nursing, College or University

* Current PA RN license that is active and in good standing

* Trauma Nurse Course within 1 year of hire

* ACLS certification within 1 year of hire

* Basic dysrhythmia within 90 days of hire if have not had a formal course

* TCRN or other form of certification approved by PTSF with 3 years of hire

* One-year acute care experience or other comparable nursing experience preferred
