Responsible for leading and managing a team of Business to Business Sales Consultants solely focused on prospecting and closing small to medium accounts. This role will lead team through corporate strategic initiatives, as well as help define and deploy industry and prospect specific business development strategy. In addition, this role is responsible for driving accelerated growth and delivering annual new business budget through effective leadership, talent management and the execution of strategic sales initiatives.

What you'll be doing:

  • ASM B2Bs are responsible for developing associates and managing to KPIs of their team.
  • Works 1:1 with B2Bs to assist with opportunity prioritization and strategy development.
  • Coach and assist B2B SA's and SC's in both 1:1 or group format to reinforce Professional Selling Skills, on opportunity prioritization and strategy, attainment of KPIs to drive results,
  • Incorporate Next Generation Selling Tools & Process to ensure B2Bs work in most effective, efficient, and productive environment possible
  • Hire, Retain & Develop talent by maintaining a robust talent pipeline, motivating top performers, and managing underperformers
  • Monitor emerging marketplace trends and available data to drive decision making and ensure evolution of sales strategy and execution.
  • Fosters a culture of inclusion, open communication, collaboration, goal achievement, and accountability
  • Responsible for deploying Professional Selling Skills methodology and ensuring team masters all elements of strategic sales process.
  • Responsible for research and identification of emerging trends impacting procurement process', informing team, and modifying sales presentations/pitches.
  • Vocalize where support is needed from cross-functional partners
  • Assess and drive performance and accountability across the team
  • Provide guidance on product and assortment pricing.
  • Must possess and demonstrate strong communication (written and oral) skills to effectively communicate with customer and internally cross functionally

Qualifications :

What's needed- Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 5+ years of successful sales or sales management experience
  • 5+ years advanced selling & negotiation skills
  • 5 + years computer skills and technology competence
  • 5+ years experience in sales in a business-to-business selling environment in a multi-tiered sales organization
  • 3+ years of core skills and knowledge of the B2B role
  • 3+ years experience in communication and presentation skills

What's needed- Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Industry knowledge
  • 5 years of successful B2B sales or B2B sales management experience
