Job Description

Welders!

* Must pass weld test, pays determined off weld test

Duties:
- Weld and fabricate various metal components, including ductwork, pipes, and structures
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
- Operate welding equipment such as MIG, TIG, and arc welders
- Use tools such as plasma cutters, press brake machines, and soldering irons
- Assemble and disassemble parts as needed
- Conduct quality checks to ensure welds meet specifications
- Perform basic maintenance on welding equipment

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a welder or similar role
- Proficient in various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, arc)
- Familiarity with different types of metals and their properties
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and precision in work
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Ability to operate forklifts or willingness to learn
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects
- Perform MIG welding tasks according to project specifications and codes standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and welding process specifications.
- Set up welding equipment and select appropriate power tools for each job.
- Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
- Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments.
- Inspect welds for accuracy and quality, making necessary repairs as needed.
- Fabricate and build metal structures using MIG welding techniques.
- Use basic math skills to calculate dimensions and measurements.
