APPLICATIONS/SALES ENGINEER:
Qualifications / Responsibilities:
$80-$100k
Qualifications / Responsibilities:
- Minimum of an Associate Degree in an engineering related program
- Previous experience in a machining or foundry environment
- Previous technical sales experience
- Must be comfortable working with cross functional teams – especially customers
- Ability to read and utilize engineering drawings & blueprints to provide customer quotes
- Evaluates new projects and prepares job quotes.
- Visits existing customers and potential customers as needed.
- Attend trade shows.
- Track and follow up on quotes as needed
- Reviews cost sheets and surcharges received from main office.
- Can build relationships with customers that lead to more new castings or transfer tools from existing customers.
- Fill out new tooling order for samples.
- Assists in engineering issues.
- Assists in evaluation of samples and experiments.
- Understands of investment casting process a plus
- Knowledge of wax, shell, foundry and finishing procedures a plus
- Able to organize work assignments.
