In partnership with physician and administrative leaders, takes the leadership role in developing, articulating, and implementing a shared vision and a comprehensive plan for patient care strategy and operations. Collaborates with interdisciplinary team members to assure the direction, planning, and evaluation of service delivery, outcomes, and overall operations. Establishes key partnerships with physicians and administrative colleagues, community providers, and interest groups that influence referral and patterns and standard setting practices. Aligns the priorities of the patient care unit leadership in collaboration with the medical or clinical directors to assure the operational and clinical standards promote the best and safest care.

  • A current license to practice professional nursing in the State of Wisconsin required.
  • ANCC leadership certification and/or Specialty clinical nursing certification within three years of hire.
  • Master's degree in Health Care Administration, Business Administration, Nursing or related field.
  • Ten years of experience including 5 years of management level clinical leadership.
  • Strong leadership abilities with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills to address complex healthcare challenges.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with various stakeholders.
  • Proficient financial management skills, including budgeting and financial analysis.
  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare operations, regulations, and industry trends.
  • Ability to navigate and collaborate in a highly regulated and dynamic healthcare environment.
  • Proficient in utilizing technology and data analytics to drive decision-making and process improvement.

*Normal office environment where there is no reasonable potential for exposure to blood or other high risk body fluids.
