Position Summary:

This position performs telemetry monitoring under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse.

Duties:

• Performs continual surveillance of multiple monitors.
• Identifies significant arrhythmias and/or signs of patient distress and intervenes appropriately. Identifies and corrects for artifacts.
• Reports abnormal assessment and telemetry findings or changes in patient physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
• Tests equipment for proper working order. Reports equipment problems to supervisor.
• Nurse assistant duties and responsibilities, under the direction of registered nurse.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Excellent Customer Service Skills
• Graduate of a Nurse Assistant or Tech Program
• Current BLS certification with 6 months
