Are you passionate about improving manufacturing processes and driving operational excellence? We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Process Engineer to join our team. As a Process Engineer, you will play a key role in identifying waste, troubleshooting complex manufacturing problems, standardizing and error-proofing work operations, and most importantly, improving process efficiency. Position Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership and direction to ensure process designs conform to sanitary standards and produce products meeting customer and business requirements.
  • Utilize proven methodologies, including statistical analysis, to optimize products and processes for maximum efficiency.
  • Support commercialization trials and contribute to the successful launch of new or modified products.
  • Identify opportunities for process efficiency, continuous improvement, associate development, and cost savings.
  • Investigate manufacturing issues related to equipment and engineering processes, reverse engineer machine components to enhance functionality and reliability.
  • Demonstrate technical expertise in mechanical design, equipment, and process optimization using engineering principles and practices.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Electrical Engineering) or a relevant scientific-based degree, plus 3 years of direct process support engineering experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated process engineering improvement/knowledge to drive efficiency and cost savings. Demonstrated understanding and application of statistical based data to identify and definitively prove benefit for current and future state.
  • Strong background in implementing lean practices; six sigma certification preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet multiple objectives, excellent team-building skills, and outstanding communication skills.
  • Experience with automated packaging equipment and sanitary processing (food, liquids, cosmetic, or medical) preferred.
  • Familiarity with machine installs, checkouts, and acceptance testing is a plus.
