The Qualified Treatment Trainee (QTT) is a 2-3 year time-limited training position for master's prepared individuals who are working towards full State licensure in Psychotherapy/Counseling. The Trainee provides individual, group and family therapy to children and their families in an outpatient setting under the supervision of a licensed therapist, supervisor, or manager while working towards completing the required 3,000 hours of supervised experience in the field. The trainee carries a caseload of clients, bills, documents and participates in all aspects of the clinic and clinical operations under close supervision and training. The requirements of the Trainee position are regulated by DHS 35 and MPSW 3, 11, and 16.
- At the end of the residency, all documentation of necessary application required for future licensure as a State of Wisconsin Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) will be completed and submitted.
- Ability to provide quality individual, group and family therapy under clinical supervision.
- Ability to receive and adjust to feedback.
- Must complete Children's credentialing application prior to start date.
This position will be working in a local Elementary school in the Racine area.
