Responsible for food preparation for patients, visitors, and employees. Produces quality foods according to the prescribed diet as specified by the menu, recipes and production sheets. Also responsible for the correct handling of perishable foods and accountable for minor amounts of non-perishable foods and major amounts of perishable food supplies.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High school graduate or equivalent preferred but not required.
Required Experience: Prior healthcare food preparation experience desired.
Licensure: None.
Skills: Able to follow recipes, portion control, sanitation/HAACP organization of work area, inventory control, math, customer service.
Equipment: Food slicer, blender, processor, steamer, ovens, deep fryer, dishwasher, stove.
