Position Summary:
The Market Information Systems Director serves as a strategic leader, with Information Technology expertise. This role is responsible for providing IT leadership and executing the IT strategy at the Market level. This role works directly with IT departments to assure that fundamental IT initiatives are in place and they support the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization. This position collaborates with staff, directors, and senior management to establish a plan and achieve department specific goals and objectives and provides strategic leadership by coordinating the IT Market functions in a standardized manner. This position integrates the IS Department's services with the Hospital's primary function and goals and integrates and coordinates services between the IS Department and other Hospital departments. This role will serve as the Market IT Leader and will oversee the activities of all IT services in the Market. He/she operates independently to ensure objectivity and fairness for employees while supporting the Mission, Vision and Core Values of the company.
