Position Summary:

Ensures a safe and clean environment for surgical staff and patients.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Assists in room preparation and opening of supplies.
Assists OR staff by transporting equipment used in surgery.
Cleans and prepares procedure rooms in between patients and sets up appropriate equipment for the next
procedure.
Cleans and disinfects flexible scopes for OR and Anesthesia.
Maintains records for compliance regarding room temperature and humidity. Monitors positive pressure for
surgical suites.
Maintains necessary supplies in OR and PACU.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Education:
High school diploma or equivalent


Required Skills:
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be
able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.


Minimum Work Experience:
3 months healthcare experience (Preferred)
