What does the job involve?

Under the direction of the Production Manager(s), the Production Supervisors will be responsible for the prioritization, coordination and scheduling of safety, material flow and manpower assignments to meet customer demand through the maximization of equipment utilization and adherence to all safety & quality standards.

What will my responsibilities include?

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Coordinate and schedule all material and manpower requirements to meet production demand. This will be done with the support of the planners;
  • Inspect machines and equipment to ensure operational performance and optimum utilization;
  • Maintain established employee relations, policies, and safety and health regulations
  • Strive to develop, both individually and through employee involvement, process and productivity improvements;
  • Ensure that all employees under your direction are trained in and adhere to all established company Safety, ISO standards, quality procedures, work instructions and Environmental control procedures;
  • Actively support all continuous improvement initiatives;
  • Conduct performance evaluations and recommends merit increases, promotions, transfers and other personnel actions with the support of the Manufacturing Managers;
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

What key skills and experience do I need?

  • Minimum 5 years of machining experience;
  • Experience in high volume, Precision, CNC Machining and Cellular manufacturing environment preferred;
  • Demonstrated ability to lead people effectively;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

You will be eligible for the full complement of Senior Flexonics GA Precision benefits, including 401(k) match up to 3.5% and profit-sharing contributions (subject to the provisions of the benefit plan documents). Benefits are effective the first of the month after your date of hire. You will earn 10 vacation days (80 hours) annually. Your vacation will be prorated and accrue 1.54 hours per week.

This offer is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening, physical exam, as well as proof of legal authorization to work in the United States.
