Job Title: Pediatric Nurse- MRI
Work Schedule: 2nd shift, 20 hours per week ( 2 shifts one week and 3 the next) 2pm-10:30pm (8 hour shifts). There are no set days but the schedule is made out in advance. This role also has an opportunity to be Full-Time.
Job Summary:
The MRI Pediatric nurse functions with demonstrated expertise in providing nursing care and/or consultation to the pediatric patients hospital-wide, who are cared for in the imaging department. The nurse is a recognized resource for consultation to nursing and physician services both within CHW and the community. The nurse is also expected to utilize the nursing process to assess patients prior to procedures or scans, prioritizing the need for and providing nursing care to patients undergoing procedures or exam within the Imaging Department. The nurse is expected to function within professional and hospital standards.
