We Energies, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking aFleet Technician (So.-No Grp.#) in ourMilwaukee, WI location.This position is 2nd shift. The hours are 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm.
The Fleet Technician (So.-No Grp. #) performs the following duties:
- Maintains, repairs, and services vehicles and equipment that are essential to other work groups to ensure that they are safe, functional, and available when needed and in accordance with DOT regulations
- Performing troubleshooting and diagnosing current or potential vehicle and equipment malfunctions
- Temporary or permanent repairs and component rebuilding on trucks, construction, automotive and auxiliary equipment
- Preventative maintenance
- Miscellaneous duties as required or assigned
Current pay range: $30.44-$50.73/hr; subject to change based on union contract (starting rate will be based on experience level).
- Applicant must have a minimum of two years' experience as an automotive or truck mechanic within the past four years
- Applicant must have a valid driver's license and meet the company's requirements for driving.
- The selected applicant must obtain a commercial driver's license (CDL) within 90 days of entry into the job.
- The applicant must comply with DOT commercial driver's license (CDL) drug and alcohol testing requirements.
