Deeply committed to helping some of the most vulnerable individuals in our community, a Street Outreach Worker works collaboratively on the Outreach Team and connects homeless individuals to resources.

Locationis Hybrid - A combination of in-person and off-site, depending on organizational need.

Compensation

  • First-year compensation $20.61 - $31.56 per hour, higher compensation for individuals with more experience.

The Role

As a Street Outreach Worker, you will be connecting with homeless individuals in the community and providing resources. You will be a vital part of a close-knit team that offers transformational services to clients in need experiencing housing insecurity and possibly mental health and/or substance challenges in the community.

About You

  • A high school diploma and 6-12 months of related experience, or a combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with patients who have co-occurring mental health, substance use, and physical health problems is preferred
  • Familiarity with the City of Milwaukee and Milwaukee County
  • Vaccinated for COVID-19 or willing to be.
