Position Summary:

As a QA/UR/PI Coordinator is responsible for ensuring staff coordinates patient care activities to conform to evidence-based practices and regulatory requirements and collaboration with physician and other healthcare disciplines to assure positive interdisciplinary workflow and service excellence. Our QA/UR/PI Coordinator will also assist with coordinating all Joint Commission and Hospital quality council activities and makes recommendations based on standards and best practices, management of performance measurement and improvement activities designed to improve patient care and patient safety and implementation of quality objectives related to the performance improvement program. The QA/UR/PI Coordinator will be responsible for coordination of peer review and mortality review.

Qualifications

Required Education:

Bachelor's degree is required.

Required License:

CNA, LPN, or RMA/CMA license is strongly preferred.

Registered Nurse in North Carolina is desirable.

Required Certification:

American Heart Association BLS is required

CPPS and/or CPHQ desirable
