Job Description

MARS Solutions Group is looking for experienced Technical Help Desk Support Analysts for a client located in Franklin, WI.  Our client is a well-known and highly respected insurance financial organization seeking bright, tech-savvy talent.

Job Type: Contract to Perm

2nd & 3rd shifts available-100% REMOTE after training!

Job Duties
  • Will provide support to home office desktop hardware such as laptops, monitors, docking stations and printers, physical hardware implementations, setup and functional testing of equipment and/or removals at desks
  • Will handle desktop equipment inventory management and recycling activities, workflow process improvements and potential desk side support within home office.
  • Will provide analysis and research needed to resolve diverse technical issues while working with desktop hardware.
  • Will serve as a trusted advocate for the Computer Equipment Administration team.
  • Perform basic computer setup skills including imaging, software loads and data transfers accurately and efficiently for Windows and MAC devices
Requirements
  • 2+ years of hands-on onsite desktop support experience in a large company environment
  • Should possess a technical degree in Computer Science, MIS or related field OR a significant amount of directly-related desktop computer work experience
  • Working knowledge of ServiceNow asset management a huge plus.
  • Experience setting up physical desktop workstations including monitor, dock and printer placement, testing desk setup with laptops, including cable management beneath desks and tracking of work progress
  • Experience transferring hardware inventory from stockrooms, participating in physical inventory, and tracking hardware assets in ServiceNow
  • Must have demonstrated experience using computer software packages, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and Slack for communication and tracking of work
  • Must have strong customer service and oral skills that translate verbally in writing at all levels.
