Job Description
Office Manager/accounting opening for a smaller contracting company in the southeast suburbs. We would prefer some experience in Office Management with Bookkeeping/Accounting experience. Responsible for most of company's accounting including AR, AP, billing/invoicing, collections, payroll, manage inventory, purchasing, some job costing, monthly budgeting/forecasting, review and manage credit card purchases & working with financial statements. Responsible for new employee on-boarding paperwork, processing I-9's, W-2's, 401K, health insurance, and benefits. Keep track of hours, vacations, and missed work days. Keep track of work schedule and helping with dispatching work crews if needed.  Professionally handle customer service with vendors, staff, and customers. Able to use Microsoft Suite, Jonas Enterprise, and other software. Candidate should have a 2 or 4 year degree in Accounting or at least 4 years of Accounting experience. Work needs to be completed in timely manner. This is high level position that requires a wide variety of talent and skills. Hours are Monday-Friday 7:00am-5:00pm. Pay range $60K-$80K a year + full benefits.
