As part of the Salesforce Technology, Marketing, and Products organization, the ISV Platform Expert focuses exclusively on the #1 marketplace for enterprise solutions - the Salesforce AppExchange.
The Salesforce Appexchange team is looking for a hardworking ISV Platform Expert - Use your strong technical and communication skills to engage with in-market ISV Partners to educate and evangelize platform technologies, primarily focusing on Salesforce Commerce technologies on the lightning platform.
In this role, you will be the trusted advisor and expert on platform technologies for Salesforce's ISVs globally. This role requires extensive collaboration with internal Product Teams and other partner organizations across the company. This role will own and drive the strategy and execution for growing the adoption of these key platform technologies in ISV solutions.
The right candidate is a self-starter who drives action and results, is comfortable flexing between strategy and execution, and demonstrates a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and flexibility. The ideal expert combines intellectual curiosity with empathy for partners and their sophisticated real-life challenges.
To be successful, you must be enthusiastic and be willing to roll your sleeves to code, build working demos, and assist partners in using Salesforce's world-class AppExchange technologies to distribute their solutions.
In addition to your hands-on partner enablement work, you will broadly impact the partner community by presenting conference sessions, delivering webinars, writing blogs, and working with Salesforce R&D teams to influence product roadmaps to meet partner use cases.
Experience in analyzing business requirements and designing solutions
At least 5 years of hands-on experience with developing and delivering solutions on the Salesforce lightning platform
Solid understanding of anti-patterns & best practices developing on the platform using Salesforce development tools
Building hybrid applications using a combination of on-platform and off-platform solutions
Currently certified in or acquire these certifications within 3 months of hire
Platform App Builder
Platform Developer I
Willingness to keep learning new Salesforce platform technologies and acquire these certifications within 12 months of hire
Platform Developer II
Proven track record in performing well in a fast-paced environment with strong organizational skills to effectively manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills, and a confident communicator with the ability to present complex issues and solutions with clarity to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to work well in a cross-functional, matrix management environment with a highly collaborative, team-oriented approach to problem-solving.
3+ yrs experience as an Enterprise Software Development, Technical Architect, Solution Engineer, or Consultant in a customer-facing role
Experience architecting and building solutions on other SaaS Commerce platforms like Demandware, Shopify, Adobe Commerce, etc.
Experience presenting at technical conferences and executive briefings.
Experience with other cloud-based Business Process Management (BPM) tools
Experience designing highly scalable applications

Salesforce welcomes all.For New York-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $126,600 to $190,000.For Colorado-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $115,100 to $158,300.For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $115,100 to $174,200.For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $126,600 to $190,000.Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
