Brush Assembly Machine Operator
Shift: 2nd, (2pm-10pm)
Pay: $17-$20/hr + $1/hr Shift Premium
Job description:
- Operates machines to perform standardized operations such as drilling, tamping, cutting, crimping, slotting, etc.
- Setup machines to perform the required finishing technique to the product with adequate precision and care.
- Will operate and maintain all machinery according to training instructions and will also be responsible for the inspection of product.
- Generally close tolerance work where dimensional and finish requirements are not difficult to maintain due to nature of tooling and machine setups but where precision is essential.
- Must be capable of recognizing defective materials and machine malfunctions.
- Work may require ability to read part drawings and use adjustable or fixed gauges to check work.
- Maintain a clean work area, including cleaning machines, and keeping them in good working condition.
