Work Schedule:

100% FTE, day/evening shift. Monday - Friday 6:30AM - 5:00PM with late shift. You will work at University Hospital in Madison, WI. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

Pay:

  • External hires may be eligible for up to a $5,000.00 sign on bonus.

We are seeking a Senior Electrophysiology Tech to:

  • Function independently as a member of the Heart and Vascular Care Procedure Center patient care team.
  • Perform the most complex electrophysiology procedures and act as the principal EPT overseeing the technical operations required for the performance of routine and advanced EP procedures.
  • Coordinate work assignments; review and update procedure manuals and protocols; assist in staff education, and assist in coordination of research and quality improvement projects.

Education:

Minimum - Graduate of a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (CVIS) or Imaging Technologist training program.

Preferred - Bachelor's degree in healthcare related field

Work Experience:

Minimum - Five (5) years' experience working as an Electrophysiology Technologist in an Electrophysiology Laboratory.

Preferred - Ten (10) years or more of progressively responsible experience in the Electrophysiology Lab.

Licenses and Certifications:

Minimum -

* If an Imaging Technician, then registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technicians (ARRT).

* BLS certification

* ACLS certification

* RCES or CEP certification within six months of hire date
