Codeworks is a locally owned and operated IT Services firm in SE Wisconsin, known for our strong commitment to quality and for our direct client relationships.

Our financial services client located in Milwaukee, WI is looking to bring aboard a Full Stack Java Engineer with well-rounded skills across front end and server-side programming, including DevOps automation and experience with Cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS. This role would be onsite in Milwaukee, WI in a hybrid model.

The ideal candidate will have a few years of professional experience the following skills:

• Hands on development in Java, Spring batch, React/ Redux, Nodejs and JavaScript
• A few years of professional experience utilizing React and NodeJS.
• Experience developing and leading solution delivery using agile methods.
• Solid understanding of design patterns and architecture.
• Background in DevOps and Build Automation, including GitLab CI, Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, and/or Terraform
• Cloud - AWS (S3, Lambda, RDS, EC2, KMS, IAM)
• Object oriented design patterns, Microservices Architecture, Event Driven Frameworks and Service Oriented Architecture
• Experience with API Management Frameworks
• Familiarity with both Batch and Real-time application patterns
• Familiarity with Security Patterns/Frameworks like Secure SDLC, TLS and Secrets Management
• Familiarity with Containers and Container Management (Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with Business Rules Management and Document Management systems
