Position: WordPress Developer

Location: 100% remote for the State of WI

Duration: 6-12 month contract

Requirements:

• 1 plus years of experience developing websites on WordPress including demonstrated experience developing child themes and plugins.
• Experience working with Web Hosting Control Panels (Plesk/cPanel), GIT (version control systems), Secure FTP, etc.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with WordPress multi-sites or willingness to learn.
• General experience working with Google Analytics (Universal and/or G4) and Google Tag Manager to make data driven decisions.
• Understanding or knowledge of AWS
• Ability to work independently and part of a team.
• Experience with gathering and evaluating user and/or customer needs.
• Knowledge of Foundation or other Frontend development frameworks.

Job Description:

This position will work across our service portfolio to provide support for existing websites using our campus-wide Web Hosting and central CMS services. This includes helping internal service teams and external campus partners with WordPress, Google Analytics (Universal and/or G4), and proficiency with LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) platforms and web hosting management tools and protocols. (Plesk, GIT, SFTP, etc.)
