Job Description

 
  • Accountable for the safe and efficient installation, maintenance, and improvement of process and environmental analyzers at the St. Gabriel site.
  • Understand and interpret technical manuals, sample systems drawings, P&ID’s and PI historian.
  • Understand basic maintenance processes & systems used to plan, schedule, and execute work.
  • Assist in planning and schedule of work to meet overall maintenance and production requirements.
  • Maintain and update technical information, drawings, calibrations, and maintenance records.
  • Interact with production on solving problems which may be operational rather than the result of analyzer failure.
  • Participate in callouts and overtime.
  • Proactively seek to improve and implement analyzer additions to solve operational problems, to improve plant reliability and to reduce operating cost.

This is an onsite position located in St. Gabriel, Louisiana. 



Qualifications

 

Required:

  • Knowledge on maintaining variety of analytical equipment, i.e., CEMs, process analyzers. Installs of new analytical equipment
  • Understand basic maintenance processes & systems used to plan, schedule, and execute work
  • Knowledge of SAP

Preferred:

  • Ability to work independently and with others as a team
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to develop expertise in electrical and control systems to maintain pace with technology
  • Ability to manage changing roles and responsibilities
  • Ability to multi-task to drive results and meet deadlines
