JOB TITLE: Facilities Worker FLSA STATUS: Hourly / Overtime eligible
JOB LOCATION: Varies-Supports all buildings.
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Under supervision, perform a wide variety of maintenance, housekeeping, upkeep, and repairs work. Provide security for facilities and be willing able and willing to be on call as required.
PRIMARY DUTIES:

- Perform all facilities repairs maintenance responsibilities to sustain a clean, safe, and orderly environment/appearance to include, but not limited to construction repair work on walls, doors, window, and floor coverings, etc., minor, and routine plumbing repairs, painting, minor electrical and carpentry, etc.), etc. E
- Requires on call rotation.
- Operate and maintain equipment such as vehicles, power tools and equipment, mowers, snowplow, etc.). E
- Patrol and monitor areas for security threats and respond accordingly. E
- Perform housekeeping work such as sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, stripping, waxing, and buffing floors, vacuum carpets, maintain rest rooms, clean/dust, maintain appropriate supplies, etc. E
- Perform grounds maintenance including but not limited to snow and ice control, lawn and plant upkeep, general site work, etc. E
- Prepare, complete, maintain, and submit needed records as requested. E
- Assist with facilities and maintenance work including but not limited to driving vehicles and equipment, transporting equipment, responding to emergency calls for facilities assistance, set-up of facilities for meetings, inventory control, immediately report problems and items needing repair or other related matters to supervisor, etc. E
- Bilingual (Spanish and English), spoken and written. (Highly desirable)
- Neat orderly person with great organizational skills.
- Must be a "People Person" with a great disposition and outlook on life, who enjoys working with others, is upbeat and pleasant to work with and is a good listener.
- Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office suite. (Desirable)
- Must be willing and able to work flexible hours as needed.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills, written and verbal.
- Must pass all background checks.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Job requires physical labor, indoor and outdoor work, work in extreme temperatures (winter/summer), and travel from one building to another, as needed.
REPORTS TO: Facilities Supervisor
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of one (1) year paid work experience working in a maintenance position painting, carpentry, building repairs, housekeeping, and safety.
- Knowledge of the methods, tools and equipment utilized in facilities and maintenance repairs, maintenance, and upkeep. Must be mechanically inclined.
- Knowledge of basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical and painting skills.
- Able to perform physical labor specific to facilities maintenance and repairs.
- Bilingual (Spanish and English), spoken and written. (Highly preferred)
