Position Summary

Provides nursing leadership for LCSC. Addresses concerns/ issues that physicians have within 24 hours. Provides proper feedback to MD and staff. Assists management in budget needs for the service line. Communicates and collaborates with management team.

Job Requirements

Required Licenses

Registered Nurse
Current Registered Nurse Licensure to practice in the state of Kentucky OR a Current Registered Nurse Licensure with a multistate compact status.

Minimum Work Experience
Five (5) years work experience in the Operating Room.

Required Skills
Certifications:

• Current American Heart Association BLS certification or obtain within 90 days after hire date.
• Current American Heart Association ACLS certification or obtain within 6 months after hire date.
• Current American Heart Association PALS certification or obtain within 6 months after hire date.

Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Language Skills: Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
