You will help shape the future of agriculture by:
  • Provide oversight and direction to crew members in the field regarding operational functions and processes for inspecting unrooted cuttings.
  • Adjust personnel schedules to meet deadlines
  • Ensure all aspects of harvesting unrooted cuttings are meeting quality standards and production deadlines.
Accountabilities
  • Execution of daily and weekly harvest in your area
  • Assist with harvest and quality training
  • Communication on crew’s performance compared to expectations
  • Accountable for monitoring, scheduling, coaching and encouraging the crews on performance and maintaining workflow in assigned area
  • Monitor harvest and crop maintenance progress; revision of schedules as required
  • Maintain quality standards as required
  • Maintains HSE standards/training
  • Responsible for the management and integrity of data collection in your area
 
Qualifications

Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Ability and willingness to working outdoors under various weather conditions
  • Ability to walk fields in all weather conditions and on various types of terrain
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs
  • Capable of working OT hours during peak season
  • Ability to be on your feet for much of the day; frequent standing and walking including climbing stairs and ladders; frequent bending and stooping
  • Must be authorized to work for Syngenta in the United States without work authorization sponsorship
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English)
