Material Field Technician

Job Description
Brookfield company looking for Materials Field Technician. Company will train you, no experience necessary. Responsible for driving to construction sites throughout Wisconsin and testing materials. You will walk construction sites testing soils, aggregates, concrete, grout, masonry, asphalt, and steel. You are testing for quality and impurities, document findings and calculate data. Should have strong literacy skills to properly document findings. Able to successfully learn & use field equipment for testing. Follow and interpret engineers' plans and directions. Communicate daily with contractors, technicians, and project managers. Job does require regularly lifting materials, sometimes up to 60 lbs. Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation company does reimburse for gas. Company offers excellent benefits. Hours usually 7:00am-5:00pm but earlier start times on occasion, need to be flexible. Compensation is in the $20/hr area.
