Job Summary:
Provides support for the enterprise electronic health record (EHR). This person ensures that all Froedtert and the Medical College of Wisconsin inpatient and ambulatory records are located within the EHR through accurate prepping, scanning, and indexing of medical records while meeting turnaround-times and quality and performance standards. Performs quality checks on documentation received from clinical departments. Properly cleans and maintains scanners and reports hardware and software scanning equipment problems. Provide weekend and holiday coverage as scheduled. Other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities:
One year of Health Information Management experience is preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred. High School diploma or equivalent is required
