Job Description

Applied Industrial Technologies has an immediate need for an Indirect Procurement Manager at our Global Headquarters in Cleveland, OH. The Indirect Procurement Manager is responsible for developing and executing indirect spend for categories including office supplies, uniforms, waste removal, multifunction devices and others. Become part of a collaborative team with plans for considerable growth in the future. In this role, you will have the opportunity to build valuable relationships with a wide variety of supplier partners and Applied Industrial Technologies departments.

Job Duties

  • Provide effective oversight and leadership to staff.
  • Execute strategies and activities to reduce the company's costs.
  • Facilitate contract development in conjunction with the Legal department.
  • Support the relationship between suppliers and internal business teams.
  • Report on functional projects/performance and provide updates to management staff.
  • Oversee local HQ facilities management activity, and lead or support projects at field locations.
  • Create annual budgets; track and manage expense to within budgets.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 3-5 years of Procurement/Purchasing experience; Indirect experience preferred.
  • Purchasing organization certification preferred.
  • Facilities experience is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and communications skills required.
