Overview
Responsible for building and executing various programs that will increase productivity and revenue across our organization. For this role a deep understanding of Pre-sales, Professional Services selling with a sales justification for Professional Services. The key to this role is a national mindset of collaboration with each of our four Sales zones, while providing best practices across the Pre Sales team.
Responsibilities
- Provides technical knowledge in sales meetings by presenting solutions presentations, demonstrations, customer trainings, and proof of concepts.
- Responsible for project management of customer engagements, identifying, allocating and managing project resources, documenting proposed solutions, providing high level estimates and or a statement of work while driving solutions towards a sale.
- Collaborates with Sales Teams supported in planning/optimizing PS support services in securing new business.
- Assists and closes complex, highly visible projects, with a focus on Electronic Content Management & Output Management with our customers and our contractor-partners.
- Responsible for understanding the details of our standards, our product portfolio and value prop to the market.
- Responsible for supporting the operation of some products/systems within Canon Solutions America (internally assigned projects).
- Drives enablement and facilitates coaching your team with confidence on topics such as technical account planning, demo techniques, whiteboarding a solution for functional validation, storytelling, value selling of professional services, pre sales best practices.
- Reviews Pre-Sales projects to maintain SLAs and quality standards across the team.
- Prepared Monthly Performance and Tracking Reports for our National Team.
- Drived achievement of assigned Professional Services target through monitor and mentoring of teams attention and contribution.
- Monitord the SOW process adherence for the job related systems.
- Supportd the team on an as needed basis in order to maximize support value and individual productivity in the area of Pre-Sales.
- Meets with teams to develop strategies on how to improve customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in a pre/sales-related role (sales, presales, value management, customer success, etc.) selling enterprise software.
- 4+ years of experience leading people and/or mentoring colleagues on pre sales opportunity strategy.
- Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent technical certifications/experience.
- Strong leadership, communication, organization, and multi-tasking abilities.
- Proven track record in achieving loyalty and building trust/consensus in delivery of PS support services, internal and external.
- Must be able to effectively communicate and document complex technical issues with both technical and non-technical personnel.
- Must be able to operate with minimal supervision, a forward thinker and problem solver.
- Demonstrated experience in software workflow and development.
- High level understanding of color and color technologies.
- Expert knowledge of Network Architectures.
