Position Details:

  • 2nd Shift
  • Monday – Friday : 40+ hour week with overtime available on Saturdays
  • Pay Range: depending on experience!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a wide variety of routine inspections/testing tasks to ensure quality level are in conformance with standards and requirements at varying stages of production.
  • Must be competent with inspecting 1st pieces, in-process parts, and do final inspections on precision products.
  • Work with blueprints, specifications, work orders or documented, procedures to verify quality.
  • Responsible for receiving inspection.
  • Maintain quality drive by keeping current all forms and documents relating to ISO system.
  • Develop, modify and document good quality control practices, inspection plans, quality systems and procedures.  Ensure that company and customer quality control practices, inspection plans, quality systems and procedures.  Ensure that customer quality and processing requirements are satisfied.
  • Maintains documentation and records.
  • Corresponds with other departments.
  • Create and maintain quality reports and communication findings to appropriate personnel.

Job Qualifications:

  • HS/GED Diploma
  • Three years progressive quality/inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Previous auditing experience as relates to ISO standard.
  • Ability to operate micrometers, calipers, thread gauges, CMM, and other measuring devices.
  • Computer knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software, including MS Word, and Excel; experience with Vantage a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Must have the ability to read/write and understand both verbal and written work instructions, and customer specifications.
  • Basic Windows and Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word knowledge.
