Respiratory Therapists at Clark Memorial Health are a valuable asset to our hospital teams and patients. Hours are 6p-6a, 36 hour night shift positions working every 4th weekend.

A typical day may include:

• Assess, treat and care for patients with breathing disorders
• Initiate and conduct therapeutic procedures
• Provide emergency care, such as manual ventilation and CPR assistance
• Monitor patients' physiological responses to therapy, including vital signs, arterial blood gases and blood chemistry changes, and consult with a physician if adverse reactions occur
• Set up and operate medical devices under the instruction of a physician, including mechanical ventilators, noninvasive ventilation equipment and therapeutic gas administration equipment, aerosol delivery and more

CRT or RRT, Current IN License from the Health Professions Bureau. Competent in Ventilator Management, routine therapy and assessments of pulmonary patients.
