About the role:
As a Product Owner you will play a critical role as the voice of the customer to the development teams, acting daily as a liaison between the Product and Development organizations. You will prioritize and refine work for the teams during planning, as well as review and approve completed work.

About the team:
Digital One is building a suite of customer-centric solutions on a single, integrated platform with the goal of providing a consistent user experience across digital and mobile self-service channels as well as banker-assisted channels.

What you will be doing?

You will work with Product Managers and development teams in a SAFe Agile environment to produce functional, timely, and high-quality features to support the goals of the Digital One initiatives. You will be responsible for:

  • Creating and prioritizing User Stories based on Features supplied by Product Managers to create a backlog of work for one or more development teams
  • Working with the development team(s) to refine, size, and adjust User Stories as needed.
  • Coordinating with the Scrum Master to track team progress on completion of User Stories within iterations and report progress to stakeholders.
  • Reviewing and accepting completed User Stories.
  • Identifying, resolving and/or escalating risks and dependencies between teams within the Agile Release Train and with external teams.

What you will need:

  • 8+ years working in software development as a Product Owner, or equivalent related experience
  • Good knowledge of financial and/or payment solutions technology.
  • Expert negotiation and communication skills.
  • Theability to establish and maintain effective working relationshipsat all levels.

  • Knowledge of FIS products and services
  • Agile development certification
