Job Description

Ellsworth, an industry leading global distributor of specialty chemicals and equipment, currently has a Data Entry Specialist opportunity at Ellsworth Adhesives, a division of Ellsworth Corporation, located in Germantown, WI. 

As part of the Marketing department, the Data Entry Specialist will work on a wide range of data entry projects. This position will support the integrity of product content on the Ellsworth.com website. The Data Entry Specialist will gather data from various source documents into the site backend for storage, processing and data management purposes.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 1+ years of related experience and/or training
  • One-year college or technical school certificate in a related field of study
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and Access. Experience with Adobe Photoshop is a plus. Experience using ERP, WMS, and CRM systems a plus. Experience editing websites and using content management systems (CMS) a plus. Must be willing to learn new business systems as necessary to complete tasks.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25lbs

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Data Entry and Maintenance
    • Researches SDS & TDS documents, ERP systems, and manufacturer/vendor literature and websites for relevant and accurate product information.
    • Adds and edits product data.
    • Maintains accuracy and quality of web data through content updates and maintenance processes.
  • Web and Marketing Support
    • Assists in management of online advertising campaigns including data feeds and lists.
    • Creates and edits web pages as needed.
    • Helps coordinate marketing programs and events as needed.
    • Assists testing web applications across multiple devices
