Overview

Provide excellent customer service and assistance for Andis customers from all three divisions: Barber & Beauty, Animal and Consumer. Be able to demonstrate strong verbal and written skills and an understanding of the connection between compassionate customer service responses and the company's success.

Responsibilities
    Upholds Andis core values of excellence, integrity and respect in all work-related activities.
  • Resolve problems for customers by clarifying the problem, selecting and explaining the best solution and following up to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Respond to customer contacts that come in through various channels. Channels may include but are not limited to: phones, emails, website, chat, social media.
  • Process new and replacement orders for customers in ERP system.
  • Process customer returns and refunds.
  • Create and provide UPS labels for customers.
  • Collect payment and process Repair Orders for customers.
  • Use of proper and professional phone and written etiquette.
  • Provide back-up assistance for Receptionist.
  • Create and update work instructions for departmental processes.
  • Develop and maintain an expert level knowledge of Andis' full product assortment.
  • Shows initiative to improve processes, procedures and other departmental needs.
  • Compassionate understanding and empathy of customer needs.
Qualifications
  • A minimum a High School Diploma is required with at least six months of Customer Service experience. An Associate or Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is required.
  • Previous use of Microsoft CRM a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is strongly preferred.

This position offers a hybrid work schedule of mostly remote work with meetings, trainings, and other in office needs as required.
