Job Description

Position Overview as a Region Fleet Maintenance Manager excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills are a requirement. Engagement with your Shop Foreman / technicians, to maintain good morale among your team that promotes cohesiveness with our internal and external customers is paramount. You will also play an integral role in the hiring, training, and ongoing development of your technicians to ensure that our highly skilled workforce is able to meet customer expectations. As leaders we must back our fleet maintenance staff to take their career to the next level in a supportive environment that aligns with our companies' commitment to investing in our employees.

Job Responsibilities

* Coordinate, audit vehicle maintenance, appearance, technical repairs

* Ensure assigned / prioritized work meets customers' needs

* Ensure quality, compliance, and safety of company's assets

* Financial accountability for assigned locations

* Coach and mentor technicians

* Enhance shop performance and efficiencies

* Monitoring of maintenance system compliance

* Fosters strong line of communication between shops and operations

* Promote a clean and safe working environment

Job Skills & Qualifications Preferred:

* 3-5 years of fleet maintenance management experience preferred, or at least 3 years of team management in an environment with strong operational metrics.

* Experience managing of multiple sites

* Associates or Tech School degree preferred Required:

* High school diploma or equivalent required

* Strong customer service and organizational skills required

* Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a CDL are required

* Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office and web-based applications preferred

* Managerial 3 + * budget & manage P&L 3+ years
