Job Description

BLACK SHOE HOSPITALITY is looking for a quality individual that would be excited to join our BOH management team.
Candidates must be able to lead the kitchen staff in a positive environment, have a great work ethic and be dedicated in offering our guests great food and service.  Must be inspired by current and past food trends and willing to work with our current culinary team to inspire and grow.

  • At least 3 years’ experience in kitchen management
  • Ordering, cost/inventory control and menu development
  • Technology proficient
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends

  • Train, lead and mentor the BOH team
  • Menu planning
  • Budget and control of food and labor costs
  • Work with FOH management to build continuity within FOH & BOH teams
  • Innovative thinker with consideration of restaurant growth

Our restaurants include:

MAXIE’S, Southern inspired restaurant including Low Country cooking of the Carolina’s and Creole & Cajun cooking of Louisiana.  Opens at 4PM daily. Closed Tuesdays.
6732 W Fairview Milwaukee.

BLUE’S EGG, serving Modern American Brunch through the eyes of Lady Liberty, blending new and old world ingredients and creating new and fresh concepts. Open 7AM - 2PM daily. Closed Tuesdays.
317 N 76th St Milwaukee.

STORY HILL BKC, food inspired by the Upper Midwest with global technique, sourcing for quality and working with local suppliers. Open 11-9 Tues-Fri, 9-9 Sat and 9-2 Sun.
5100 W Bluemound Rd Milwaukee.

Our SHOREWOOD location will be reopening in early summer, offering an upscale dinner & weekend brunch. 4195 N Oakland Ave Shorewood.
