We are seeking a motivated IT Network Administrator to join our Irvine office.


The IT Network Administrator provides IT related support and technical guidance as directed by the Director of Information Services.


Essential Functions

  • Core Function: Perform preventative operating system patches and hardware firmware updates on core network hardware
  • Provide level 3 support and technical guidance to level 2 techs for end-user support in the following areas; network, cloud, Office 365, Azure AD
  • General IT related admin tasks, like creating users, shares, unlocking accounts
  • Administering cloud-based applications
  • Use helpdesk software to create and update incident tickets
  • Administration of anti-virus and anti-spam systems
  • Monitor backups
  • Monitor LAN, WAN, and Wireless infrastructure
  • Monitor and resolve alerts generated by SIEM
  • Monitor and review system logs
  • Maintain network monitoring platform
  • Follow and apply configuration and security standards and policies
  • Development of required IT documentation including but not limited to general procedures and end user instructions
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of organizational procedures and guidance on matters as they relate to information systems
  • Assist in the interpretation and development of security operating procedures to protect networks, and other sensitive information
  • Identify and evaluate security gaps


Requirements

  • Experience supporting computer systems on a wide variety of platforms
  • Experience with a SIEM solution
  • Experience working from or developing IT related documentation
  • Experience apply operating system patches
  • Experience with security assessments and planning
  • Experience with implementing and supporting VMware
  • Experience with implementing and supporting Windows Server
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365 and Azure
  • Experience with Anti-virus software
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Must be available to participate in off-hours on call duty
  • Some travel may be required
