An Intern is responsible for assisting with various projects within the department he/she is assigned to at K12. This position will provide operational support with implementing our summer programming to include enrolling students into courses and monitoring student engagement.

  • Demonstrates an understanding of the business, needs and business goals
  • Creates and prepares various content, presentations and materials as needed
  • Executes tasks by utilizing various technologies and platforms specific to the business
  • Provides additional support to the team as needed
  • Evaluates student engagement
  • Organizes student enrollment lists
  • Provides operational support
  • Support the School Operations team with summer programming

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no formal supervisory responsibilities.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma OR
  • Currently pursuing a BS/BA OR
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience in online education

OTHER REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Observational and listening skills
  • Self-motivation and excellent problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented and organizational skills
  • Ability to listen effectively, respect others' perspectives and contributions, and offer and accept constructive feedback
  • Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, etc.); Web proficiency.
  • Ability to pass required background check

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in online education a plus.
